Woodland Elementary is getting its own CWC chapter: a student-led writing club for young writers in grades 3–5.
What families can expect
- Story-driven workshops. Themed units, such as fractured fairy tales, spooky stories and adventure tales, after school each week.
- High school ambassadors. Sessions are led by trained high school ambassadors who love writing, supported by a teacher at the school.
- Printed workbooks. Brainstorming exercises and step-by-step guides help every student go from idea to finished story.
- A keepsake magazine. At the end of the program, every student's writing is published in a CWC magazine.
