School Chapters

What is a CWC chapter?

A CWC chapter is a student-led writing club at a local elementary school. Trained high school ambassadors run themed, story-driven workshops, such as fractured fairy tales, spooky stories and adventure tales, for young writers in grades 3–8.

Each session mixes an icebreaker, a short lesson and plenty of time to write. Students follow along in printed workbooks, and at the end of the program every student's writing is collected in a keepsake magazine.
